I have the original Snap-On ECFHKY (350 lumen) puck lights which I love. I am thinking of getting more. I also see that Snap-On has ECPRBO42 (400 lumen) and ECPRA072 (700 lumen). I found a Maxxeon Cyclops that makes both a 350 and 750 lumen for like $27 and except for the light, looks like my original Snap-On ECFHKY lights. Which one should I get?

The Cyclops lights are great lights and an amazing value, but I have had the micro USB charging plug break on a few. But for the price, I can't complain.

i have SO ecpnd032, super slim/skinny and bright with 3 different light mode. but probably out of your price range.

The cyclops lights are a great value for the money, I have bought 6 of them and all but the one that I left outside in the rain are still working well.

The socket to attach to a tripod is interesting. I have 3 Snap-ons and wish they had a screw attachemnt.
I have the SnapOn ECPRA072 and the big difference in this one to the others is its metal back. It is VERY solid plus the rubber front bumper offers great protection if you knock it around. I have had zero issues with the USB-C charging port. I probably have 10-12 hours in it and am very happy with my purchase.

One more option to consider is the Astro Pneumatic 70sl light. It seems to be a bit of a clone of the ECPRA072 in terms of form, but also with the metal back case and rubber front. One difference if it matters is it uses micro-usb for charging instead of usb-c. Price point is closer to the Maxxeon you mentioned than the ECPRA072 Snap-on.

I was going to post about the new Harbor Freight Braun 57187. However, "boom10ful" beat me to it! 
I purchased the 57187 last month with a 20% coupon. Earlier this month, HF eliminated it in magazines and none are available on hfqpdb.com .
The unit is very sturdy; and produces a bright, wide light at all three lumen settings. The magnets at the bottom of the light are very strong. It uses micro USB to charge the unit. Unlike the other 2 Braun flex shaft lights (63958 and 56200) with removable 18650 lithium batteries, the same battery is integrated inside the unit.

Thanks for reminding me. I have the Snap-on ECPRA072 since it was released but can't seem to find it now. I hope I didn't leave it on a vehicle I worked on last year, I'll be pissed if I did. That's a great light.

How can I tell if my snap on ecpra072 is charging or not? Does it have an indicator light to tell you it is taking juice?

If you're interested in trying something else, you might want to look at a Streamlight Syclone. I picked one up on a whim a few months ago, and I've really liked it. Up to 400 lumens, it has a strong magnet, a hook, and it rotates 360*. $50 on Amazon.

The only way to know for sure if the cheaper options are as good is to buy them and beat on them. The Snap on light has one of the stronger magnets out there and it's shock resistant. The electronics on some of the cheaper lights like the HF Braun stick light go haywire if you stick it near a spot where you are air hammering.

I can tell you this...
One traveled underneath a Durango from Western PA to Northern Michigan....went through a blizzard they were having...and returned back home to Western PA.
Put it on the charger and still worked.
The only thing wrong was the push button for on/off required extra hard push to work.
I took it apart and cleaned it...no issues whatsoever.
Whatever that says it says something...

It means China knows how to make a excellent LED light
I have the Icon puck light, and it's been seeing a lot of use as I swap the suspension, control arms and some other stuff on my wife's Mazda.
The brightest 2100-lumen setting is a lot of light (which is great for these aging eyes) and it supposed to last 2.5 hours, but I generally wind up using the 1000-lumen mode, and it has lasted for a day of work being on a fair bit (rated for 5.5 hours) a couple days. There's also a 280-lumen mode that says it will go 12 hours. I love that it charges with USB-C, and seems to charge relatively quickly.
People will grump about lumen-accuracy, and I have no idea about that, but the medium/1000 mode for the Icon is definitely brighter than the 700-lumen mode on my Milwauke Rover (2367) Service/Repair light.
The Icon is bigger than the Braun light, and more expensive, so some folks might prefer the Braun,
