I bought a very nice Digital Torque Adaptor to verify/calibrate my torque wrenches. I already went through all of them, some were right on the mark, some needed adjustment. This QC2FR75 is just a bit under and I want to adjust it, but not sure how it's done with this wrench. I removed the end cap on the handle and there is a nut behind it, but it doesn't seem that the nut is for the actual adjustment, but rather holds the assembly together. I don't want to damage anything or take apart the wrench unless it's necessary. Does anyone know how to properly adjust the wrench? Thanks!

For me I would send it in to any number of companies that offer recalibration. Not something that most people have the tools to adjust properly.

I don't know anything about adjusting torque wrenches but I would say the nut is for adjusting for two reasons, one being that it also has a snap ring to hold parts together and two being that the nut is marked to tell if it moves.
