snappy truck guy met me at the door of his truck today with a smile on his face....then proceeded to lay the comfort and chrome handle versions of the quick releases out on the counter. I didn't stand a chance..... :lol_hitti

funny thing was, the 1/4 had the newer style script on the handle and the 3/8 had the older script. Didn't make much difference to me as now they look like this! :bounce:

I have all three sizes in the 36 tooth version, and those say USA, just had to rub it in. The quick release is nice.

I cant help it...i HATE the fact that they dont say USA. I love their ratchets...but part of me wonders ya know
I wish they'd stamp USA on them as well. Kind of like a "peace of mind" thing. That being said, I haven't seen any solid proof that theyr'e made overseas and even if I found out that they were, I'd still probably buy them because, as not many people will dispute, they make awesome ratchets and have a warranty that's second to none.

I dont think they're made in the US. I just cant see why you wouldnt put a top selling point on your tools,a top selling point thats been part of your company's mission statement since day one ,the only logical explanation is that its not made in the US.

I have found a fix for the missing USA stamp on the ratchet, those who want to fix the problem just need to buy an engraving tool and engrave USA in said tools missing the stamp.

That is the truth... no matter snapon fans say or believe. Regardless, it is a nice ratchet.

I don't care where it's made, as long as it is better than all other ratchets, then I will buy it. I'll take snap on ratchets over matco, Mac, or any other brands any day.

Regular, it says 7 and 7/16 long, which is too long IMO. maybe for certain jobs it would be okay though.

Actually I see it listed as 9-9/16" which is a typo, it is the same length as the THL72 which is 6-7/8"
Shorter is the TR72 which is same size as T72.
