As far as I know here's every color (except white) of hard-handle ratcheting screwdriver ever made:

Nice. Now you can add lettering options, like red with black lettering.
Oh and it is not showing that new limited dark green or the blue with white caps...

I limited this picture to the "solid" color screwdrivers. I'll post another one later that shows lots of the color combinations offered (two-tone green, blue with white caps, white with red and blue caps, yellow with black caps, etc.)

A red state.
Hmmm...I think I've got two or three...but they're all black, if'n I remember correctly.

What was it Henry Ford said about the Model T?

Something along the lines of, "You can buy one in any color you want, just so long as it's black."

Has anyone done a time line on the Snap-on ratcheting screwdrivers? Models, part numbers, colors, lengths, etc?

I never realized that there were any more than a handful of different colors colors until this thread.

Now that is why I come to this forum so much. If you love the photos, then fantastic. If they don't make sense, I can't explain why we love them so much. Great collection!

Pretty damn impressive.

How much am I going to need to drop to get a pink one at some point? What do they go for?

Funny you mention that, as I found one on eBay after posting, and it's listed for $95! They still make the pink ones, then?

That price isn't too bad...used would be even better for my poor ****.

yeah, they're worse than the green ones on Ebay. I've been searching for a used one at a decent price for a looong time. I'm soon going to give in and buy one (well, 2 - one for the wifey and one for me!) from their website myself.

You must have a lot of screws loose to need that many screw drivers...I'm just envious, are you a dealer, or collecter? Seriously havn't seen that many of the same screw driver in one place before (of Snap on brand).

That is a nice looking collection man...

I keep thinking I'm going to order up a gray one...

My poor "collection" is limited to a yellow, green anniversary one, two pinks (including one of the original pink ones sold with the Kershaw shears), a couple of black ones.. one of the mini orange ones. Maybe I'll snap on some pics.

I might've missed it but did they ever make them in that brown color?

I bought a red one off the truck when I was 16 and sweeping floors at a body shop after school (1987). I paid $35 for it, and my dad went ballistic.
A few months later he used it, and VERY uncharacteristically ate crow.

I still have it, and typically only use it on car interiors, so it's still in fantastic shape. (though I have driven a few hundred deck screws into my shop wall to hang signs, license plates, etc.). I use it in the house a lot too.

I had one of the ergonomics in orange, and freakin' LOVED it. I lost it for a few years, and it turned up one day and I was overjoyed.
Then I lost it again. I have absolutely no idea where the damn thing could have gone to.

I need to **** it up and just buy another one. The ergo handle made the straight handle about as obsolete as anything in my tools box.

"My husband has a growing obsession with Snap-On ratcheting screwdrivers. I don't understand why one needs so many screwdrivers in a such a rainbow of colors, but he enjoys it. He requested a photo session to show off his collection"
