I like how the Koken ratchets are all at an angle like the bad guys in Batman.
Koken are hardly the bad guys. In many ways they are superior to Snap-On. Plus I'm running out of room, so I had to make them fit.

I have one SO soft handle and like it a lot but I don't like at all that soft handles are magnet for dirt and grime.
I’ve noticed that about the Snap-on soft grips. They are more of a spongey rubber than a lot of other brands so they really attract a lot of grime and dirt. I noticed that I can just leave them out and by the end of the day they have a layer of dust, chips, and dirt. But I’m not a huge fan of Snappy’s chrome handles either. They feel a bit awkward.

So are you just buying regular chrome handled ones and pressing them into hard handles?

where you get the handles and that tool to press?
No. Not possible without extensive machining of chrome handle shank. Purchased/traded new Snap-On hard handles from my dealer. They are still available. Got the tool press from my dealer.

Is there a size or dimensional difference between the black hard handle and the orange hard handle in the picture ?

It's not black, more of a dark grey. Might be their dark titanium color? No differences. Exactly the same except for the color.

You have two green SO hard handles. You have never used them?
Pretty sure I have those exact 2 ratchets in yellow and i too have never used them. My opinion, those are skippable ratchets.

1) ratchets are personal and different people like different ones for different reasons. It’s not just the specific work we do. Same exact job, people will choose different ratchets.
2) it’s hard to know what you will like when you buy a ratchet. I have very specific advice about ratchets (buy long flex heads with the soft grips first). Like so many others, I took advice and bought a bunch of fixed head mid length stuff, none of which I use.
3) shouldn’t have to have this conversation with a person who has a snap on ratchet collection! If any of this puzzles you, it’s a world gone mad!

Even if you don’t use them, especially if you don’t use them, make sure you exercise them at least once a week!
I do and I also rotate using them as fidget spinners. Very relaxing to hear and feel the smooth ratcheting action.
