snap on ratchet question

on page 5 of the green tools ****,gj67stang shows a picture of a green hard handled 3/8 drive ratchet fhr80.my question is,is it still available or is it only made with the soft grip now.also is there a 1/2 drive quick release with the hard green handle,and if so ,where to get it.thanks

Just buy the ratchet itself all handles on snap on ratchets are changeable regardless of sort grip or hard handles not too hard to change I do it all the time as I personally like the green soft grips as for me it is easier on the hand at the end of the day but attractive to oils thou

+1 on this, just buy a SHR80A and swap the handle. The new hard handles are supposedly not that nice, although I'm a Softgrip fan anyway

Ebay sells them I bought 2 Red hard handle 3/8" ratchets recently. one standard size and one with flex head.

No 1/2" hard-handle in green that I have found. I don't think it exists. I have a new green FHD80 as well as a new THLD72 that I might part with if you are interested.

I don't think it's available with a hard handle. I think the ones in that photo are soft handles replaced with hard handles, looking at the lack of part numbers on the green handles.

I don't think the QR were available from SO with the green hard handle. gj67stang was one of the forum originators who put hard handles on SO ratchets that didn't come with them originally! If you go back to the post you referenced in your first post in this thread at the bottom he has a link to his side business that does this for people.
