I'm going to have to part ways with most of my Snap On ratchet collection. Many came from people here on gj, some from gearheads I know, a bunch new from Snap On, and others from eBay.

I'm trying to get a business underway (custom knives dealer) and I need to find money wherever I can. Alas, that means a lot of stuff is going to have to go.

SHIPPING: Prices include paypal fees, but do NOT include shipping. I figure in a case with so many items listed, better to just list the actual prices and worry about shipping separately, in the event that (as I hope!) anyone wants to buy multiple items. Everyone pretty much knows the sizes of the flat rate boxes and how much they cost. As a refresher the smalls are around $6, the mediums $11-12, and the larges $16 or so, I think. Anyone outside of CONUS+2, we can deal with shipping costs case by case.

PRICING: I've tried to price everything right around where they should be. Pricing is based on condition, so a Minty version of a model is going to be more than it would be if it was just Excellent or VG or just good. I used my records, current S-O prices, and eBay, to come up with what I think are the right prices.

Condition ranking is something like this:

• Mint/Minty/Brand new : appears flawless, like it just came off the line, and was handled with kid gloves. Museum-ready.
• Near Mint+/Near Mint/Near Mint- : these are still like new off the truck, but of course even off the truck there can be a mark. Hence, the range of ratings.

Anything below Near Mint- means you probably wouldn't want it like that off the truck. In other words, an Excellent+ might look great, barely used, but you can tell it's got enough scratches where you would say "hey, who used this rat before me?". Still, for a lot of people Excellent+ is good enough to be Mint, and they wouldnt' even know what I'm talking about! I guess I can be fussy...

• Excellent+++ thru Excellent- : Some scratches. Nothing major. Handles might have marks, or fading. Still mechanically fine.
• Very Good+/Very Good/Very Good- : Scratches in this case may be "hack-marks", though not quite "gouges". Chrome begun to rub off.
• Good : Now we can be getting into gouges. Significant rubbing/wear can be here, too.
• Fair and lower : These are not in such great shape, but still usable and not junk by any means.

H. 71-15 - 1/2" long. Fair condition at best. Was over-greased. Pretty ugly and old. Underlined logo, of course. $45.

OK, let's give the rest of them a bump! Unfortunately (or fortunately, I guess) there's not too many left...

I changed the pics to make it a bit easier to see what's sold. They don't look nearly as impressive as they did before!

It's gone pretty well. I tried to be careful about who had asked about what, and about trying to check with people before passing to the next guy in line. It worked out in most cases - there was one case where I had passed someone because I thought he was out of the picture, only to receive a paypal from him, just after I told the next people the stuff was theirs! Drat! I apologize to that person that it didn't work out, sorry I had to refund your money. I'll try to do better next time.
