Snap On ratchet warranty

I have an old F720A from my dad. The part where the socket attaches (not sure of the part name) is cracked. If I call Snap On do they require you send it in for replacement or will they send out new one and I can keep the broken one?

I would like to keep it because it belonged to my dad.

Call the 1 800 # and ask offer to take some pics and send them in they may send you a new one and let yo keep the old one, they also may have a repair kit

usually with more expensive items such as ratchets they require you to send in the old one.....at least that has been my experience

Usually you can find 720's at a decent price on ebay. I would pick up one on ebay and scavenge parts unless snap on still has stock on the part.
