Snap on ratcheting interchangeable screwdrivers

I was picking up a crowfoot at the snap on truck today, and on a whim, bought a ratcheting screwdriver with the interchangeable shanks.

Seems to me that the ratchet is in the handle, and the shank just has a standard square drive.

Anyone know how much torque these can practically handle? I've busted a lot of cheapo ones, and I do have a Stanley one from HD that has stood up well to driving long screws, etc.

I just liked the hand feel, and so it was a whim. But I'm guessing it is pretty stout.

Are there any other recommended stronger ratcheting screwdrivers?

I have a kobalt that can take some torque. I've been able to break screw heads with it and it doesn't skip or hasn't broken.

Been pounding away on my Snap-on ratcheting at work(interchangeable shank) for about 15 years now- never a problem. My favorite screwdriver- ever.

I have a snap-on ratcheting screwdriver with interchangable heads that I picked up maybe a month and a half ago. I've used it a couple times and I really like it. It feels great in the hand and the ratcheting mechanism feels strong. Only time will tell how good it actually is.

I have put some pretty good torque on mine and haven't broken it yet. I have a Kobalt that I had before the Snap On and never broke it either (as a plus, the Kobalt shafts work on the Snap On driver). I think the ratcheting mechanism is pretty stout on them both, but the Snap On is a lot smoother.

they will handle as much as your hands can apply. Had one forever, the grip on them allow you to really get a lot of torque. I had regular screwdrivers and not been able to take screws off, but been able to get the torque required with the snap on.

The five position handle screwdriver allows some serious torque.
