Snap on ratcheting screwdriver

Just learned this. On the newer style Snap on ratcheting screwdrivers the end cap doubles up as a finger spinner. There is a 6 point cavety to put a bit into. Just figured this out....... Not the best picture, but you get the idea.

That's cool, I wonder if the old style is like thats. I'm trapped at home with 30 inches of white death and don't have one here to check.

my aviation guys cant use this ratcheting screwdriver anymore. if you push really hard ont he back the cap will unscrew itself causing the bits to fall out. FOD problem.
so they started sealing their cap up, they lost the finger bit driver feature by doing this. i use it to hold the 2nd most used bit in the handle

That's a cool idea. I checked my Gearwrench to see if it has the same feature - it doesn't

WOW...I never noticed that...Probably cause I ONLY use my hard handle ratcheting screwdriver's though.

I just bought a new master set and what do you know, it has that feature!
Too bad I don't like the feel of the handle in my hand.......look in the classified section soon.
