Snap-on repair question.

About 15 years ago I bought a Snap-on toolset. Recently my SL836 quit working, so I pulled it apart with the notion I would buy a repair kit. I noticed the gear was missing one of its' teeth - does snap-on have a replacement part for this? I don't want to lose the wrench…

Just find your local Snap-on dealer and he will repair it for free on the spot so long as he has the part on the truck.

Ahh, Snap On's website suckage continues.

OP, really, if you don't have a dealer who can help you, call the SO customer service folks - they're usually very friendly and helpful, and they'll help you get the parts you need one way or another.

There's a way around that. What you do is enter "snap-on SPP744" into the Google search box. When the search results pop up, click on the Google link to the snap-on web page. That will take you directly to the page that has the special tool.

Unfortunately, that only serves up a link to the old buy1.snapon.com site.

I wasted a bunch of time screwing with SO's site . Calling Customer Service was a better option for me. The person who I talked with from Customer Service was aware of SO's website's idiosyncrasies.
