Where is the best place to buy replacement slides?

Looks like a 26"x 1 3/4"

Are these exclusive to snapon?

snap on would be where to get replacements, Give them the model number, Yours may be life time replacements.
The last set I ordered, I called and told the rep. that I had purchased it at a yard sale. he told me it didn't matter, that this series of box has a life time replacements, I told him again that I had purchased it used and he kept saying that they were no charge. Good luck.

Honestly
I'm not sure what model it is

I know it's stamped on the back of the box... But it's kind of a PITA To pull it out

I wish it was that easy for me. When I called last year I was told the warranty is only for the original purchaser. Only needed a few so it wasn't too expensive.

Snap on will replace the slides for you for free. Just give them a call.

yeah maybe...

But I've heard too many stories about people getting grief or resistance..

I bought the box second hand.. trade/purchase.

also, It was my fault for tweaking the slider in the first place.

for 30 bucks I'll bolt the new ones in and call it a day.

a couple of years ago I broke a 1/2" breaker bar and they replaced it free.

but I needed to go ask a favor from my buddy that owns a garage... since he has a relationship with "the snapon guy"

it would be nicer if they made it easier for the average joe to access a company representative.

I have never had a problem getting replacement pars for SO. One of the questions they ask is "do you have a shop and a SO rep. I say no, I work for a place that has 4 shops and is not serviced by a SO rep and I am on the road all the time.

I just replaced the roll and lock locks on one of the drawers that I was willing to pay for. Rep told me no problem how many do i need they are covered. Told her I just needed the one because that is all that is broken. She seemed amused by my honesty.

I bought my KR1000 from an estate auction. It needed a couple sets of new slides, cleaned the grit and old hardened lube out of all the slides and all but a couple worked like new... got the ones that I needed replaced free, via Snap on....
