Hi all

Just wondering if anyone knows the difference between the snap on KRA62D and KR6210 road chests

Do either or both come with friction slides?

What about lock and roll

I'm trying to decide which one to buy

Any info appreciated as i could not find much online

Cheers

Bears mentioning there are a subset of craigslist and other on-line fora sellers who will title any top box as a "road chest", so get the model number before driving to see/buy.

Hey Cody, I have a KRA62C HDRC which does have a single handle on either side and two handles on the front lid. No lock and roll.
The draws do slide out and rub on the front when travelling. I have had mine just short of 20 years and it’s been in the back of my field truck.
The amount of weight I have in the two middle draws is massive, never had a draw slide issue, just remove them every couple of years and wash and lube them.
I went to buy another one and the snap on dude harped on about space/$ valve and I lost interest and am looking for a used one as they are dear.
Cat sell them but in Black and we’re on a special some time back.
If you travelling **** roads with loads of tools this is the only box from Snap on that will survive a long time.
