Snap on S-9474? Bottle Opener?

I have a Snap On S-9474. Can't find this part number on the SO website. Kind of looks like a bottle opener. Anyone know of what this is. A google search came up with the description of a "mini spanner" ? ? ? ?

Is it being repaired under warranty? Not trying to be smart, but will it wind up costing more, than replacing the camera?

I lost my old HP 3MP camera, which really pisses me off, as I have all the software in my computer, and I could actually use the thing. I hate to delete everything, in case it turns up, and I am slowly learning how to use the 300,000 function 8MP Panasonic that I replaced it with.

Yep, Warranty. You think Canon would have more than one "authorized repair center" in Western Canada.
