Does anyone have the part numbers for the new SO 12pt SAE low profile sockets that just came out? They were on the SO web site last week as a new product but they are not listed anymore. Thanks..........

Billymade, the link you sent was for the 3/8 drive low profile sockets. I am looking for the 1/4" drive low profile sockets that SO came out with last year. The SAE set is 111RT but the sockets are only sold with the set and not listed individually. This low profile set has the sockets and ratchet that are the pass thru type. They had them on the web last week and I forgot to write the numbers down and now they are not there.

Just as a heads up for anyone interested in the 12pt low profile sockets. I just called SO inquiring about availability for the sockets and half of them are on quality hold and are not available for sale. The customer rep could not answer any questions that I posed to him about when the sockets would be released for sale.

they are ready to go. i have sold a lot of them sofar. no problems they might see a limited marketing notice which means they are allocated for other dealers and not for sale at the moment. not QA but I will look into that.

Thanks MRSHAUN. The rep definately said that it was a quality control issue. In fact, the system would not even let him order the questionable items for backorder. He said that the system kept denying him the ability to order the units. I would appreciate you checking it out for me. In fact, if you can get them, I will order them from you. I was hoping that SO would offer a complete set of SAE sockets since I have the metric set including the ratchet already but it seems that they are available now as individual sockets only.

Thanks........

they did have an issue with the visibility of the letters/numbers on a couple of the sockets but that was taken care of. they should be ready to go now. I have not had any delays in product shipment.

mrshaun, the number 111RT is for the complete set including the ratchet. I already have the metric set with the ratchet. That is why I was looking for the 12pt SAE sockets by themselves.

Should have bought the sae set first and then bought the metric ones individually?

But the dealer should be able to get them.

they release the sets first then they make the socket sets w/o the ratchet. but since the 1/4 needs the ratchet to work then they might not do that for a while

Just buy the set and have a spare ratchet. Since it is odd, it might be nice to have a spare.

lots of guys keep everything separate any ways. sae here and metric over there. no need to go hunting the ratchet everytime you want to use one of the sets.
