Cleaned out my Snap On tool box, then I decided to restore it after reading a few good threads on this forum. Just getting some tools that aren't used very often, off to a new home. Everything in very nice condition, hardly used the screwdriver and wrench set. Email me for pics. Located in Newton, New Jersey.

- Orange Snap on ratcheting screw driver $20 Sold to Hiball

- Blue Point 12pt ratcheting wrench set 7-17mm (5 wrench set) $25 Sold to John Brewer

- Craftsman 1/4 sockets and several drivers & Craftsman 3/8 ratchets (2) and assorted metric/sae sockets, all good condition, no cracks, etc.. $5 Sold to Hiball

I've got some interest in the Blue Point, but do you have any references or history from another web forum or anything?

This is why I think ALL interest should be expressed first in the body of a thread, in the form of "PM sent about xxxxxx" or "Interested in xxxxxx." That way, everyone knows who is after what and at what time they started knocking on the seller's door.

No big deal. I already have that screwdriver. Make it in the rules! I wanted to see a picture. His post said to email for a picture. I didn't know we were racing.

Its all good, I covered all bases. I agree 100%, but in the end its the sellers responsibility to make the rules and that seems to be the Moderators thinking also.

Ahh, so a secret sniper got the Blue Points, eh? Oh well.

You should stick around the site, more tools or not. It's a good group here.

Bull - Just being fair, I got a email from John a few minutes before your post.

On another note, I found this forum by accident while trying to identify my tool box. I didnt know where the serial/part numbers were so I started to google and I ended up here. I like what I see so far... :3gears:

Thanks...

That does sound fair to me. It's just a peeve of mine about making interest publicly known in the thread. Not a big deal in this case.

Like I said, though, stick around, and maybe root through your collection to see what else you might want to sell. People here troll the classifieds ALL DAY AND NIGHT looking for deals.

You could make an introductory thread and let us know a little bit about you and your garage space/tools in the section for new members. :)

I guess I'm the "secret sniper"... though I'm not sure what that means. I just double checked the rules post at the top of the forum and saw no mention of that practice. If it's listed elsewhere I apologize and will post an "I'll take it" from now on.

Functionally however, I don't see how it would make a difference in the outcome of the transaction. I've been beaten to the punch many times in a similar way and always figured it's a case of the early bird and the worm, and not anything underhanded. If it is, my bad.

Guys, both items shipped out this morning Priority Mail. I apologize for the delay in the shipping, I've been unable to get away from work to hit the post office until today.

Np.. Thanks for following up in the thread. I completely understand how frustrating it can be to get away from work or in my case as a railroader being home during business hours to send packages etc..

Well i received my items today. Cant complain the Price was right and Packing was good, I would recommend next time just keeping the socket holders instead of bending them to fit in the box.. :headscrat . I realize they wouldnt have fit so i would have conceded them and you could have put them to use. Secondly He packed everything really good inside, Individual big items wrapped so there wasnt stuff flying around etc... Another tip for future sales... You did great on the inside but the outside seams needed more tape, There are numerous threads on damaged flat rate boxes and people receiving missing items etc. Again im not complaining, I give gsxr Positive feedback on his first successful classified sale here at GJ.
