congrats to you. i had it saved in my watch list just to catch the bidding frenzy at the end....and it did not disappoint! :rocker:

OK I'll admit, I also saved it in hopes that it would go cheap and I could snipe it

Collectors are not rational human beings...:dunno:

For instance, my sister collects "Ceramic Asparagus"...:lol_hitti

If a person is a collector, they will pay whatever is necessary to purchase an "Extremely Rare, Collectible, Left-handed Heximulticomplicator Remover"...

Someone "Absatively, posilutely had to have a clear, ratcheting SnapOn screwdriver..."...$ 290.00 was a rational price for them to pay, so, they paid it instantly..."In case the seller changes their mind..."or....

Congratulations to both the buyer and the seller...you each got what you wanted...:thumbup:

I just couldn't see paying that kind of money for a screwdriver that I will never use to repair anything with. I told my Snap On Dealer about people collecting Snap On tools, he thought that they were nuts, Collecting them instead of using them.

Which is what came out the front of his head... while the back of it was going "Well, now I know where to sell my used tools!"

How cheap? Even if you didn't know of the "collector" status, why pass up a cheap SO ratcheting screwdriver? :dunno:
