Snap-On screwdriver patent ?

Does anyone know what "Pat Pend" refers to on the orange handle driver ?
I dont think its for the handle itself because the black handle has a patent number for that and it has the older style logo.

But Klien also has this nut design on some screwdrivers. It's probably the orange color that they patented:bounce:

The vast majority of Snap-on's patents relating to screwdrivers cover "The ornamental design for a screwdriver handle, as shown and described."

thats right... yup orange.. lol

:) Maybe they can have a Plomb/Plumb style battle with Rigid.

IIRC it was for the handle shape

I've been looking for a patent like the one above and cant find anything.
Maybe its to have it reissued or something.
