ebay value is probably $250 left in the package, I know just the handle and the #2 phillips/flat combo blade sells for $100-150

the blades use to list price for $24 each, all are discontinued except the standard one

yah but the ebay trends show that the price has dramatically inclined especially colors other then black!

I know what you mean, I pieced a set together many years ago and the handle was like $14 when I bought it in the early 2000's

Does that price of 250 include a special dance? Really though what makes those collectible I under stand ratcheting screwdrivers but a removable shank screwdriver? Not trying to offend sorry if offense is taken.

Also based the price off of eBays sold listings of the same item. Seen a mint condition used sold for 207, and a few heavily used ones sell from 98-150. I didn't just go off what one person said it goes for off here. So we will see if it sells for that or if my what it sells for in auction on eBay. If anything for future reference incase someone else inquires on the value of one.

I picked up the same set today at a swap meet, and paid $15 for it.. Actually, it was $15, and he threw in a duck billed vice grip that looks like new. I probably would have paid $10 just for the vice grip, so you could say that I paid $5 for the screwdriver set. Had o idea that they were so valuable when I bought it. Now, I'm going to have a difficult time not wanting to sell it, to see what it will bring.

Yep that price is about right. The little red SDDD1 reversible pocket drivers are still going for around $75 - $100 or more. At least with this one you get more than one blade. :D

I have that same set in NOS condition I got off eBay a couple years back for $65. At current trends the price should be in the $300 range in the next year or so. That is when I'll sell.

Keeping track of eBay trends is well worth it. It gives you real time info on what your stuff is worth.

250??? That set sold for 95 when it was new.
A lot of eBay sellers sell Snap-On tools (new or used) at or above the selling price. If something is no longer available or "vintage", they seem to raise the prices. Not every old tool is collectable or vintage.
