I'm not a frequent Snap-On customer. (Read: I may buy off the guy once or twice a year) But this week he handed out his new sales flyer and hopped on his truck to chat with the mechanics. I rarely even grace his truck with my presence, but thumbing through the catalog I hopped on and off his truck in a hurry, with a new set of sockets in hand no less.
Perhaps I'm a fool, but it seemed like a great deal on a set of sockets. The deal: buy a metric set of 3/8" drive semi-deep metric sockets (8mm-19mm (all sizes)) and get a standard set free. (5/16"-7/8") So it came out to 22 sockets for 180 bucks (after tax). A pinch over 8 bucks a socket. I'm not saying semi-deeps can't be had elsewhere, but they're not popular, and I've been yearning for a set for years.
Worth a peak I think.
