A car show comming up in my neck of the woods is promoting that the Snap-On tool truck semi will be there.Is this a display of old/new SO tools etc.? Anyone know what to expect?

Snap-on is a sponsor of the Good Guys car show series. I would imagine that they will be at all of the Good Guys shows across the country.

There's a snap on facility in Crystal Lake??? Anybody know what they do there (corp office or plant where they make something)? Anyway, just wondering if it's possible to buy tools there or during the tour itself.
I really enjoyed buying off of my local snap on truck dealer during his Thursday route (which is close to my work) but it seems like I can never get a hold of him anymore. EVERY time I call his cell phone now, he never picks up and I can't leave a message since his vmail is full. I always pay in cash or with a credit card so I know he's not trying to avoid me. Anyway, I refuse to order from the web just yet.

Damn It. Missed the stop in Nebraska last week near my project site - 10 minutes from my hotel. The Crete IL stop is a half hour from my house - Crystal Lake is down the road from my office and I'll have to miss them both since I'm stuck on the road.

I'd say the OCC bike is the overpriced item... or over valued if you will.

One of the reasons I will stop is to see the OCC bike. Most everyone that has seen OCC`s work close up says it`s really ****,shoddy workmanship.I`m no fan of their bikes or drama.

Never been able to stomach sitting trough a show, reminds me of catfighting...
But yes, I never heard one good thing about anything they've ever built being able to be actually ridden any distance or time...

Stopped by at lunch today. Well worth it if they come to your town. The Chevy nomad wagon was great. The more you looked the more you see the use of tools in the construction.The semi set up and display was 1st class. The OCC bike was a yawn to me. Small display of tools and lots of tool boxes to play with.
