Not to be picky but over the years Snappy made several different style short wrenchs

Are you referring to the XSM double box?

Looks like facom has them.

I like the SO shorts in some situations, and have gotten at least 3 sets on ebay over the years. Sometimes they are reasonable compared to the long. Not as popular maybe.

there is a line of bonney and bonney made matco are shorter than long and longer then stubby if that makes sense.

the matco are wc=short, wcl=long, and wcxl= extra long.

The Bonney short wrenches aren't really that short.

9/16 short wrench length:

Bonney - 6-7/32
Proto - 4-1/2
Snap On - 6-1/16
Snap on Midget - 4-17/32
SK (and older USA C-man) - 4-9/16

If you're looking for short (not stubby) deep offset double box wrenches, SK has a set of 11-20mm wrenches on their "steals and deals" page

How easy is it to buy Williams/Snap-On Industrial brand tools in the UK? Williams recently added short metric combo wrenches. The link is for a US seller, but maybe the part numbers and other info will be of some help.

ETA. I see people mentioned Facom. Looking them over, that might be worth a look since that should be easy enough to find in your country.

Armstrong also made short wrenches (around 6").

you would have to find them on ebay now, since they are no longer made.

Now those look interesting, in my opinion reasonably priced and made in the US to boot. Thanks for posting. They look like updated polished versions of the pre Snap-On JH Williams short wrenches. I have the old school JH Williams short wrenches so will need to check on the old school wrench length compared to the new. As discussed by others Armstrong also made comparable length short wrenches of which I have a few.

I have the Williams short set in S.A.E., good quality. I'm sure the metric set will be as well. Can't attest to price comparison, I picked my set up at a Flea for $10
