Snap On side cabinet question

New member here with a question about my old Snap-On roller cabinet. Short explanation is that I want to know if it can handle the weight of a side chest on both ends. Further details are below.

What I have is a KR-557B with a KRA-56J on top and KR-547 side lockers (the ones with 3 shallow drawers then an open shelf space) on either end. It's an old setup, but one that I still work out of daily and would like to continue using until it's truly worn out. I'm self-employed and not under any pressure to have a late-model box.

I could, however, really use some additional drawer space vs. the open shelves the side lockers provide. I'd like to get rid of those and replace them with some that have a full bank of drawers -- either Kennedy 185XRs or the equivalent SO ones (if I can find some used - SO no longer makes one that is 18" deep).

My question is, can the roller cab handle the extra weight of this. By my own rough estimate, the current side lockers each weigh around 60-75 lbs empty while a full bank side chest weighs around 100 lbs plus the contents. I replaced the stock casters with a 4000 lb set long ago for my own peace of mind, so they're not an issue -- but I don't want to inadvertently overstress the sides of the box/the welds holding it together.

Neither the local SO dealer or their HQ could give me a definitive answer to this question -- what say you guys?

I've had that same box with two very loaded sides on them. I think you could easily put 500 pounds on each side and it would be fine, side aren't going to buckle, might not roll super smooth or easy.

I had the KRA-547 on one side and the 7 drawer on the other for 37 years. It was home use, not in a shop, but there was zero damage or distortion to the roll cab. Both boxes were fully loaded.

Thanks for the additional responses -- tells me what I needed to know. Still surprises me that SO doesn't have an official specification for this, but I'm not an engineer and seems its become a moot point anyway. I'll be sure and provide an update once I get this upgrade completed one way or another.
