I just picked up a used Extreme Green KRL1023 that needs a little clean up. Nothing major, but some light scratches and scuffs here and there. I've got older boxes that I know are Lacquer, but I can't determine if the the new boxes are single stage paint or powdercoat. Does anyone know for sure?

I polished up a bit last night with a light paint correcting polish and got a slight bit of color transfer on the towel so I'm guessing they aren't clearcoated at all.

It's probably PPG powdercoat but I can't be 100% sure of that. And IIRC it's a proprietary color you'll only be able to get from Snap-on if you need touch up paint for the box.

Snap On has the PPG paint code on the sticker usually with the model and serial number of the box. I repainted a box that needed freshening up. I used the paint code number off the box. The paint PPG provided was a single stage enamel. I think it turned out fine.
