The Imperial snap ring pliers are fantastic and don't cost $5000 per set.

I have 2 or 3 different sets of Snap On ones of varying ages and sizes and whilst I do not use them all day every day, when ever called upon they function as they should.

I think they are pretty good. I have a pair at work that don't flex as much as the Lang style. I need that for 1 90 degree ring in an electric drive motor.

For the other 98% of tasks and also at home I have a bunch of Mac that are Lang style.

The 12 piece set is
.038
.047
.070 and
.090" tip sizes, each in straight, 45 deg., and 90 deg.
IMO, getting all 12 is overkill.

I have the 3 small sizes in straight, because I knew it would address specific uses for me.
If some internet sleuthing is correct, the 2pc. Set is the 0.038 and 0.090 pair.
The 7pc. Set is the 3 small straights, 2 45s and 2 90s.

I think they're good pliers, and I suffered through replaceable tips before going with them. No regrets and they seem to have durable tips.
