Snap on Socket help

I was given a socket the other day 1/2 drive industrial style finish and it is 11/16. part number is y-2 no year markings and the script is very old. once my camera charges I will add a picture. the 1/2 drive part is very flat. no lead in chamfering ( spelling may be wrong ) that snap on has now. anyone have any ideas?

Check to see if it has Flank Drive.

If it's real old, it won't have Flank Drive.

if it does it is very little. ever so slightly raised on the flanks. it is 6point

Its a aircraft spark plug socket. Probably from the 40s

really. thats cool to know. It came out of a military tool room On Fort Hood. They didnt know what to do with it. It didnt match their set.
must be early 40's the script doesnt match the sockets I have from 44 and 45 but it does look similar to the 9/32 drive 1/4inch socket that is from 1941. I thought it was 1951, but looked at the chart wrong.
