I have a used snap-on socket set available. This is a 10 pc set with stubby ratchet.
GTM830 ratchet
STSD6,9,10,11,14,16 & 18 (chrome and stripped sockets)
GSTMD7 & 8 (industrial sockets)
3/16,7/32,1/4,5/16,11/32,3/8,7/16,1/2,9/16
There is a little story on the finishes of the tooling so I will explain.
These sockets were used in new production on Pratt and Whitney JT15-D Turbo Fan engines (Cessna Citation series). They started life as a chrome set and stripped of there coating by the original owner. (chrome was not allowed in new production.) The sockets still wearing the chrome were not used. All of these sockets are engraved "MEG" very lightly. The ratchet is engraved "MIKE" all the evgravings are almost worn off.
I bought this set from the original owner as part of a larger set, and used them on the overhaul line for years. The black sockets are ones I have had replaced with the industrial finish becasue of wear. Our company has bought each of us a Snap-on box to use, so I no longer need these.
These sockets have plenty of life left in them and the ratchet works smoothly (auctually better than the new ratchets we now have). Sockets can be traded in to a snap-on dealer for industrial finish if desired.
I would like to sell the set for $100 (shipping included lower 48). I will accept trades and offers. Please contact me through email @ [email protected]
