I got some sockets on ebay, it seems the older snap on sockets don't fit to well on my Hansen socket tray. I have a newer 4.5MM fits fine but I just got a 5MM it only goes down about halfway. Does anyone know what year the socket design changed? I am looking for the STMM sockets.

A lot of the small sockets have this issue. Me, I just drill out the socket to fit the rack. My last sk socket were pretty tough to drill though. That's one of my gripes about the Hansen trays.

Had the same issue with Hanson trays. Thought they were a great idea, but ended up getting rid of them and switched over to the Kobalt magnetic-bottomed aluminum clip rails. I've never looked back. I'm now able to use a lower drawer for my sockets , freeing up the taller one for other uses.

I used a reamer to expand the hole just slightly on mine. I believe I had 3 that needed a little trim to fit.
