The OP is wrong about the ratchets, and I know why. This happens on ebay a lot.

If you go to the Snap-On website and search the model number of a discontinued ratchet, it will automatically take you to the current replacement.

Try it,

go here:
http://www.snapon.com/

Then copy and paste this into the search box:
SHL936A

It will take you to the page for the SHL80A, which is what replaced the SHL936A. The OP just copied and pasted all the SHL80A info, which is why all his info is wrong.

No, I don't even know what dual 80 means...I am not a mechanic by trade, just like nice tools around the house. I put the code into the Snap-On site and grabbed what I thought was the official description of each ratchet.

Thanks for the clarification Stephen, and apologies for the confusion guys. I will try and track down the actual descriptions for the ratchets.

Bob - your ratchet is actually a 36 tooth. The new model is an 80 tooth.
The S936 means - S is 1/2 drive -H meaning a soft handle - L meaning Long seried- 9 is the 900 series ratchet and 36 meaning 36 tooth.
Your other ratchet starts with an F meaning a 3/8 drive. H meaning soft handle and 36 tooth.
Hope this clarifys to other members.
Good luck with the sale buddy!
