Snap-On sockets

Just got these sockets off eBay recently and upon examining the date code on them I think it says their from 1988, I find it hard to believe though due to the condition of the sockets they look like some of em haven't even been used

That is a 1988 date code but there is nothing odd about finding mint late 80s Snap-On sockets. I see them regularly.



Ah okay, how does the snap-on sockets from the 80s hold up against the stuff today? I heard some of the old stuff was stronger in comparison to what's around now?

That is true from my experience and those that I trust. The 80s stuff is top quality so you are good there.

I like the 60s stuff and earlier personally.
