Yeah but wait till you get the bill for selling. You'll have $20 fees from ebay and another 10 from paypal and then 10 to ship. It's like getting $200.

Free listing offer from ebay and 50%off from pay pal! So yeah, it did work out. Thanks.
The "Free" listing on Ebay for the 5 items a month is not really free if your item sells. It actually costs more because they bump the final value fee up to 8% on those "free" items. Just so every one understands how that works, if you missed the fine print.

They made and sent me the offer for 5 free listings from a certain day to a certain day(I don't remember the exact dates). So the listings had to start and end between those dates.

What IS the story with ebay??? I have bought several "box lots" of wrenches off of ebay. My rule of thumb is to buy wrenches that add up to a total with shipping to an average of less than a dollar per wrench--- but this is for "vintage wrenches" which often amount to "not much." I've never sold anything on ebay, though. I just assumed it would be a rip off, but sounds like sickytwisted wound up with a good deal. Anyone have any insight, advice, ect? cheers, bird
I've been a Ebay Powerseller for 10yrs. It's not a rip to sell. You just have to figure that your Ebay and Paypal (now pretty much required) fees are going to cost you 12% on average. You may be able to gain a little of that back in S&H, but buyers and Ebay will note if your charging excess shipping. It's all in what you have paid for something. If I buy an item for $100 that I know I can sell within 30 days for a thousand, then I'm not crying over the 12%. If it's $8.00 items your selling, you'll loose your as*. This is a wonderful forum for buying and selling professional tools. The buyer and seller both win with lower costs on both ends.
