Snap-on Soft handle Hard?

So lately I got my first snap-on ratchet and thought it was nice, long story short 2 months later I now have 5 but anyways

So I got a replacement comfort grip from a friend as an extra for a comfort grip ratchet I have on the way but its like a very hard plastic I thought these were soft? Do they have 2 comfort grip style handles? One hard plastic and one softer rubber style? Or just the one harder comfort grip? Can someone clear this up for me sorry if its a dumb question! I was gonna order some more but I want to get this figured out first! Thanks...

It's called a comfort grip and is still somewhat hard. It replaced the old hard handles.

There was a hard plastic handle in the same style as the current comfort grips and it is a little rare

Ah, so Im not crazy are the current comfort grips soft at all? Cause the replacement grip I have I cant even make an indent in it when I squeeze as hard as I can, I think I have the item number I am trying to find it! uh nevermind its at work, I wont have it until tomorrow!

On a similar note, are all the 3/8 comfort grips the same size. I have a fhlf936a and want to replace the grip. The snap on web site isnt much help. I found the part # through GJ and wanted to make sure it was the right one before i ordered it from the web. Is f936-12 (red), f936-12g (green), and f936-12o (orange) the right numbers for my ratchet. I greatly appreciate any help.

Yes I haz them too. Yes they are comfy but they like to mar and are easily chewed up by sharp edges and if ground against anything abrasive.

While comfy, they are not as heavy duty as the std. chrome handled ratchet handles soez keeps that in mind yo.

The new soft-grips also have the new and update logo on them.
