Ship it to me ill find a use for it.
Most likely at the time of production it fit a very specific need with tons of applications. Think of it like specific distributor wrenches there was some odd need they made something that everyone "needed" and now its obsolete. It would be nice to find someone who used this day to day,

I used to have a 2ft speed wrench that I used to undo the Allen bolts on the valve covers on the race car. That way I didn't have to lean over every time we pulled them for adjustment or inspection

It's so you can do overhead work, (oil pans, trans pans ect.) without holding your arms above your head all day.
A long time ago, I worked with 2 old-timers that used those on everything. The one guy was built like a gorilla and he used it to take out bell housing bolts on rear wheel drive cars. Since I was a know-it-all apprentice, and obviously smarter than everyone at the time, I used to F with him all the time for using it. He proceeded to give me one (as in to keep, and as in free) and told me I should try it. It actually came in handy on some things, like spark plugs on 4.0 liter Jeeps. I actually still have it and used it today on an old Jeep Wrangler.

I bought one at a flea market. It's no longer available and just had to have it. Haven't used it yet though. Someday I'll need it though (or so I keep telling myself that)

I have a Mac that long and use it for upper bell housing bolts and other things in deep places.

I'd use it to remove starter bolts and bell housing bolts on my Mercedes diesels.

The Tune-up Masters guys used them for spark plugs. One of those speeders and a double impact universal and you can remove just about any plug. You keep a one inch combination wrench handy while you are using it, if the plug is too tight you thread the box end over the speeder handle and use it as a cheater. The system works pretty slick.

When I worked at GM, I used a 3 foot Snap-on speed wrench for r/r transmissions.

I have one of those myself. I've never used it, but it was only $5 at a swap meet so I couldn't pass it up. 
If nothing else, I figure I can use it as a walking stick when I get old and feeble.

We use long ones at work. We use them when racking out 4KV or 13.8KV breakers. We have to dress up in an arc flash suit and look like an astronaut . The farther you are away from a breaker that blows up the better off you are.
