Looking for information on this vintage Snap-on Socket. Strange when googling an item/image doesn't work. Stamp with 'z' or '2' is hinky as well. Thank you so much for your help!

Looking at it and the Snap On date code, I would say that is a 1952 model .

it's an industrial tool, looks like the detent pin has been sheared off.
