The photos don't tell the story very well. I get the sense there are a lot of specialty tools there a buyer could flog on eBay and come out very well . . . . if he could buy the lot for less than $1000. Around here, the taco wagon cleaned up would sell for close to that.

The guy has a lot of taps, dies, Helicoil and re-threading apparatus. Was he the shop "fixer", or did he just bung up a lot of threads?

Shiny tools don't make them good tools either. Although lots of folks may think and price that way. Props to the person that invented the wire wheel. :beer:
