Will 17.9 inches long be enough leverage to a get the head bolts to 37 foot pounds + 120 degrees?

I use mine on lug bolts at much higher torque. And the angle counter “pauses” if you back up the ratchet, so you get the true angle you turned the fastener. Great TW if you have the $$$$.

You know you don’t have to buy an electronic torque wrench to do angles right? I use a paint pen, mark on the socket and stopping point and go by bolt points. It’s a cheap and easy solution.

What you're looking to do will probably be a little over 100ft-lbs, I think a 1/2" drive would make your life easier. I just torqued head bolts that were 33 ft-lbs + 130 degrees and they ended up around 110-120 ft-lbs

I love my techangle. And yes, you can "back up" the ratchet for tight areas.

You'll likely want the 1/2" version if you're doing head bolts.

That said, while I'm normally a Snap On fan, I'd probably take a look at some other torque wrenches. The Snap On digital torque wrenches are really overpriced for what you get. I say that owning the 3/8 one mentioned above. If you push on the handle a certain way it doesn't vibrate. A quick Google search brought up a thread with someone with the same problem taking it apart and fixing it. The pictures of how poorly made it was inside were astonishing. After seeing those, I really realize I didn't get the quality to match what I paid. Just my opinion after using it after seeing that and using mine for a few years.
