snap on techwrench does not beep

I purchased a used snap on techwrench from a coworker today. When the desired torque range is reached the wrench only vibrates. I was wondering is there a setting which turns the beep off and on. I looked up the user manual on snap on and it doesn't say anything about it.

All three of mine beep and I'm unaware of a setting to disable it. I'm assuming the connection to the piezo has failed in yours. To be honest, I don't pay much attention to the beep, it's the vibration that matters to me.

No setting. New batteries ? Vibration is more of a value to most customers..
