no completely different mec and design if you want the snapon feel just have to pony up and get one.. speaking from experience.... damn good tool when had ,last i lifetime if well kept

You can get the ratchet for about $50 on Ebay if you're a little patient. More than a rebuild kit, but at least it's the real deal.

all of them were well above $50 and some were even beat up

I highly recommend the 3/8 drive version it's the best for size and compactness same ratchet just has a 3/8 head on it

Can add the husky to that list even though its been discontinued. I have hadone of each the kobalt feels and sounds smoother to me. Only ever opened a husky, but I've read those guts are the same. Kobalt just felt better.


I haven't looked at used prices, the cornwell 100 tooths are fairly quiet and smooth but no snap on. Don't think the cornwell are usa either.
