no completely different mec and design if you want the snapon feel just have to pony up and get one.. speaking from experience.... damn good tool when had ,last i lifetime if well kept

I highly recommend the 3/8 drive version it's the best for size and compactness same ratchet just has a 3/8 head on it

Kobalt or gearwrench have life time warranties.

Can add the husky to that list even though its been discontinued. I have hadone of each the kobalt feels and sounds smoother to me. Only ever opened a husky, but I've read those guts are the same. Kobalt just felt better.


I haven't looked at used prices, the cornwell 100 tooths are fairly quiet and smooth but no snap on. Don't think the cornwell are usa either.

My THNF72 was purchased brand new on Ebay for $66 shipped. I actually used it this morning.
