My dealer and I made a deal, giving me about 500 dollars of credit on his truck (a trade occurred). I don't need or want much, I am undecided in what to get, he said I can get the cordless 3/8 ratchet kit CTR761B with 100 on top he'll throw in the 1/4 cordless ratchet CTR714 on his own. Or I am thinking the Master fuel pressure tester kit EEFI500A.

I already own the Milwaukee cordless ratchets (both 3/8 and 1/4) and am happy with their performance, I also own a snap on fuel pressure gauge MT337B. I don't know what to get I have all the tools I need and never borrow anything from other shops.

Let me know your thoughts!

I would stick with their hand tools, Power tools can be had for much cheaper from brands like IR, Milwaukee, Chicago pneumatic, desalt, etc and usually IMO the snapon isn't as good or at best equal. I would just get some hand tools you could use from them. Wrenches, ratcheting wrnches, ratchets, striking pry bars, bit sockets, pliers, if you can't find those maybe put that towards a scanner?

Ir isn't much cheaper. The rest don't really compare.

That being said, I have the master fuel set and love it. That's made its money 10x over.

See normally power tools can be had elsewhere for cheaper and aren't anything special, but their cordless ratchets are badass, I have the Milwaukee and the snap on and this is one of the only places the snap on is better. I use mine all day every day. It's definitely got more torque, a substantial amount, also you dont have to hit a switch to lock it. It just works like a normal ratchet until you hit the throttle, it definitely feels built tough and is rated for high manual torque as well.

Do you have any good cordless 3/8 impacts? If you go with the ratchet the only other tool thats really worth the price tag, the CT761. It's not the strongest 3/8 on the market but it is one of the most compact 3/8 out there. And it has A LOT of torque for it's size. It's rated at like 120 or 150 ft lbs but it's been tested online having more like 180ft/lbs, and it's smaller than most impact drivers. It's one of my favorite snap on tools along with their ratchet. I've used all the others and those two are the only ones that I would gladly pay their premium. And you could probably get them both around $500 one as a kit one as a bare tool. JMHO

I know you said you have all hand tools, do you have angle wrenches, swivel impacts, chrome universal sockets, low profile sockets/ratchets, or midlength sockets? Snap On excels at each of those but they are quite expensive and hard to justify spending the money on but if you have credit it's something else to look at. I'd say angle wrenches being the best of those as they're unique to snap on and depending on what you do life savers

I got approved for any number of price and stuck to buying used mostly still on credit all together I spent maybe $800 thats with some trading as well. I'm just not into new truck prices **** is way too high that I can buy on ebay as debt don't inthuse me. I'd get the ratchet over fuel pressure tester as they can be found alot cheaper on ebay.

I have both the 3/8th and 1/4 ratchets from SO , they are legit. If you already have the Milwaukee its not worth it to ditch the Milwaukee's. SO new reversible ratcheting wrenches are awesome, Ive got the metric set and they are worth every penny.

If you work on anything European (particularly German) i would recommend getting a good set of torx and spline from them, cheap torx wears down fast and rounds heads easily.

Just keep that credit until you actually need something. Don't get something just to get it. Wait until the day comes when you need a specialty tool or something.

Anything that uses a battery is eventually going to end up in the landfill. Just my opinion.

This is good advice. The only problem is that this is a deal between the dealer and the OP. If dealer goes belly up, so does the deal.

I have the ratcheting wrenches, and all the spline 12 point and torx that snap on makes, (I HAVE A **** LOAD OF TOOLS), the only things i don't have that I needed recently aer the adapters in the fuel set. From what i see they don't sell the adapters in a kit without the gauge anymore otherwise I'd buy that.

I'm not to keen on buying the cordless ratchets as there would be money out of pocket and I am happy with what i have.
