Snap-On Tool box - Age?

I am told that this particular Snap-On logo was introduced in 1923 and replaced with a new logo in 1939. Any Opinions? By the way, this is the original paint color.

No, its not. The original color is a grey color with a very slight hint of green. This one has way too much green in it. Also the original paint was almost full gloss, this one is fairly flat. This one pictured is being sold as repainted with the original color I think. Its more like the closest match they could easily find.

This one from my collection is 100% original paint, you can see what the real color was:

As for age, its from the mid-late 30's. You really cannot judge dates by the stamped logo, as this stamp shows up on boxes from about 1929 well into the late 30's.

It looks like the K23, but the size is much different. The dimensions of my box does not match any on that link. Thanks

The box is a K-22, as shown in my 1936 catalog.

The K-23 is larger, and has vertical square tubular supports at each corner.

That definitely looks like my box. (except the color) There wasn't much left of my decal but that's exactly where it was. Dimensions 201/2 in wide x 11 in high x 8.5 in deep. Its odd that your green would be so much different. I have (and have had/seen) several gray/green boxes from this era, and they all had the exact same color. Here are some more boxes from the era in which your box is from. They all have the same shade of grey/green (varying lighting conditions makes them look different, but they are the same). Post a pic of inside the drawers if you can.

Thats much closer now, if you look at the inside of the front cover, thats what it should be. So the lighting is the culprit.
