Anyone have a clue what this one is? To me it looks like a taco box. I'm going to look at it this afternoon.:dunno:

Thanks lx460. The guy is only asking $200 or bo. Looks like I'll be getting a taco cart if the condition is right!

Agreed, $200 is cheap money for some good storage real estate. If possible, don't wait. It may not be there later.

Especially since there are snipers in these hills...

Looks like it has recently been spray bombed. Still not a bad price, as long as there are no major issues.

I'm in school now so yes it must wait. Good thing is there are no snappy badges shown in the pics so most will be questionable about it.

Even if you weren't going to use it yourself, you could probably touch it up a bit and resell it for profit. But if you've got a use for it, go get it ASAP.

Saw that this AM on NH CL. Better watch out, there are people around here that have been known to grab this type of stuff and flip for profit....Best to keep stuff away from the vultures on here....:dunno:

I hope you get it!

Heads up, that box weighs almost 500lbs. empty. You and a buddy won't be lifting it in the back of a pickup. You'll really need a trailer.

Post pics when u get it.

+1 of picking it up ASAP!

One of my early boxes starting out was an old Snappy taco box. My dealer and I got to talking about boxes the other day and he was surprise how much in demand those boxes are still in. He took one on trade a while back and it didn't even last more than an hour on his truck before someone snagged it.

For $200 and the room they offer I hope you grab it quick.

Does anyone here know if SO still stocks the caps for the ends of the pull handles? I have a Kra bottom box that needs a pair

Nope, SOL on those. Mcmaster has something that fits. In their "Ends" selection.

Doubtful but the current handles for a 19" deep KRA box will fit it. If my memory serves me correctly, I put a 5213X50PV on my taco wagon when I had it.

Well it looks like I'm in a running with one other guy. I offered a chainsaw I had (no cash at the moment) and the owner said if the other guy backs out its mine. Only bad thing is that it is in a barn and there's 50ft between the driveway and barn which is covered in 3ft of snow. But that shouldn't be a problem.
Also the box is in good shape with a few dings, some slides needing replacement, has been lightly spray bombed which is a good thing because the barn is a little leaky, and also has the original badge and the heavy duty spring casters.
Well I hope I can get this cause it grew on me as soon as I saw it!

Well by the way the owner was talking he didn't seem to optimistic of the other guy. Also he like that I was a young kid looking for a box and understood I wasn't in to make a profit.

Yeah, there's guys on here that buy boxes for $1500 with a bunch of other stuff. Sell the stuff for $1500 and then try to resell the box on the classifieds for $8000...lol. :lol_hitti

Yeah I love the line where they say "It's a Snap-On! Do your research and don't try to low ball me" when they are trying to sell an old KR box that maybe worth a few hundred bucks for the cost of buying a new one off the truck.
