Snap on tool box key K5 18

Hi,

Wondering if anyone can help. I have a snap on tool box. I lost both keys so I went to the snap on dealer to buy a new key to which he informed me that snap discontinued making the key and that I can no longer get my hands on one. The other option is to drill out the old lock and put a new lock on it. Id rather not do that as there is a possibility that I will damage the box when drilling out the old lock.

Just seeing if anyone out there might have an old or a spare K5 18 key that they might want to sell or if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Maybe someone has a key they could have a copy made and sell it to you.
A lock smith should be able to make a key for it.

What model is the box?
Can you post a picture of the lock?
Isn't that series a tubular style key?
What did snap on phone support say?

Hi, Thanks for your help. I have the box in a garage. I will have to get a pic for you. It is a series tubular style key. Snap on support UK said they had discontinued making the key.

wrapitnbacon I tried that website but unfortunately they hadn't got one.

Bob it would be good to get the key copied but i need to get one first before I copy it.
