On Craigslist that is an ad for a snap-on classic 78 that is for sale. It has been listed for 28 days now. He is asking 2500. for it, His ad says that he purchased it a couple of yrs ago and paid 4700.00 for it. No model number listed. It is listed in the Yakima Washington craigslist so if some one could post the pic here it would be great.
My question is will it have roller bearing or friction slides?
Tell me the good, bad and ugly on it.
Tell me what it is worth in your market.
Thanks in advance. Rich

Yes it will have roller bearings. Its a little less stout that the KRL series. Mine blew a slide out in less than two years (but was replaced under warranty). I ended up selling it for $1350 (but it had some damaged on the side). I dioubt he paid $4700 for it. it it was in good shape, id expect $1800 or so. $2500 is too much IMO

Ball bearing slides. The drawers are smooth, even loaded, I will tell you that.
KRA series...less weight capacity than a KRL/Epiq, but still not a bad box in itself.

He claims he paid 4700 for it. He could be telling the truth, or he could be lying out his ***, as that box is available under the student tech program for 2100. I certainly wouldn't pay 2500 for it, as that seems at least a little high to me. Try to talk him down if you want it. The fact that it's been on CL for near a month is telling as to the asking price...he may be willing to cut a better deal since it's been on the market for so long.

There is a Classic 78 on my local craigslist in new condition with stainless top and a hutch. They are asking $2500 for it and it has been on there over 30 days.
