I would like to thank everyone on these communities, it has been a great help to me restoring an old Snap On tool box. Because of all your help in the posts I thought I would return the favor by taking all the data that I have gathered about Snap On tool box restoring and put it in one place. Being an engineer, I have to write everything down anyway, so I thought I would share it with the group.

I have tried to give credit to all the people that have posted with the links in the PDF, and if I have missed anything or someone would like to add anything, please PM me and I will be more then happy to add more information.

Thought it would help with the FNG's like me.

Ya, I have been gathering it up for my own rebuild, hope to get it done in the next couple of months. Someone was joking about the Shell Oil Racing colors on their tool box, and that is exactly what I will be doing, baby blue and Orange, or from Sherwin Williams - Resonant Blue and Obstinate Orange

If anyone has any good info or tips, I will add them in and give full credit to any and all contributors.

I downloaded both files but get an error msg. when trying to open file with adobe or quick office. Does the OP have any ideas?

I tried a different way to create the PDF and it worked OK for me on my desktop using Acrobat 9.5, so I hope it works for you now.
