Snap-On Tool box restore

Hi all, this is the first time I feel I have something to contribute to the forum. I found an older Snap-On tool box on craigslist and have decided to restore it. There is a bit of rust and a horrible second coat of paint but overall the box seems solid. It had a bent slide which I straitened and is missing the handle, lock, and half the logo. I have looked around a bit but cannot find info as to when this box was produced (KRA58e)

Mfg. date should be on back upper right hand corner of box. Example 6-78 June 1978
If it has been repainted it may very hard to see stamping.

That would be around a mid 80s at earliest, up to early 90s box.
