Snap-On Tool Box Slide retrofit.

Newbie to this forum. I have a Snap-On box that I bought new in 1984 when i was a Diesel truck mechanic. Still have this old box and want to retrofit the friction slides to ball bearing slides. Any suggestion would be helpful.

The box model is KR555B top box
and the bottom is a KR555D. Bottom box has ball bearing slides on bottom drawer only.

Cant be done without major modifications to the box. You would be better off getting a newer box.

or clean the slides and relube.

mine still work fine on my boxes.
