Hi all,
I’ve been following and learning for quite some time but this is my first post. I found a few tool boxes for sale but I have no idea of the value. Can someone help me with the model and value of these tool boxes before I look at them and potentially buy? I could really use some help! Thank you!

If empty in good shape with friction slides no more than five hundred. And that's if you really want them. There's nothing wrong with friction slides , and they are a good solid box, but they aren't something amazing.

Thanks for the info. Not sure if I was clear but it includes both bottom boxes and the two top boxes including the husky and the side cabinets.

The side cabinets would easily fetch $150-200 each around here, usually more than the actual boxes.

That said, I wouldn’t balk at $600 for the lot.

I'll hand you $500 for every group of boxes like this you can bring to my door.
The Husky box ain't bad but won't be here in 50 years like those old Snappys, $75 for it, tops in my world. That old Snappy chest has a good $200 plus utility value, the bottom boxes again $200 all day. Side cabs for some reason are sometimes worth as much as umits with drawers.
Compare to what HF stuff might cost new and you'll have a pretty good idea of value.
@OP Your screen name implies Hawaii. If not and perhaps some reasonable distance from Chicago I'd be happy to buy one of the roller cabinets.

I was stationed in Hawaii for almost 14 years. Mainlander now. The 2 rollers, side cabinets and top boxes have tools but not anything special, no snap one. I am just interested in the value of the tool storage. Unfortunately they want 2k for the lot. I was hoping these old boxes would be worth more. Sorry though, not near Chicago. Thank you for the input! Much appreciated.

$2000 is crazy IMO. I had similar Snap-on top, middle and bottom chest I think I paid $400 for the three pieces. I'd say $600-$800 tops for the lot as shown (Just the boxes have no idea what tools may be worth). Just my opinion.

Thank you. I’m starting to see the light. I thought these older boxes were worth a lot more. I appreciate your input!
