Was given my dads Snap On tool box and tools today. We each bought this basic set back in 1973 when I went to Jr. college to take their automotive class. Paid $250 for the set. I still have all of my original tools in my set, less a 7/16" deep socket that I lost and had to replace along the way. My dad has painted the front panel of his box an off red and has quite a few missing tools. I will restore the box back to original and fill in the missing tools as I able to find them.

I had to repaint the front cover and all the drawer fronts the correct Snap On color. Slowly filling in the missing pieces.

I recently purchased a set from a gentleman who retired some years ago, but the tools are all 50s 60s vintage. He had a lot of fond memories of using those tools.
