Snap-On tool box

So this is my first post, I have been looking for a box and was checking out local craigslist ads and came across this he claims it to be a kra2411 that is 3yr old. But it looks nothing like that it looks like a krl722 or a krl7022 can you guys determine the model and what I should offer him. He wants 3500 obo but ebay you can pick up a similar box forabout 2000

looks like a KRL722 to me. If it were a 7022 it would have spring loaded casters.

It's either a KRL722 or a KRL7022.

Probably a KRL722.

The difference is the depth.

That's no KRA, which is good b/c the KRL is better.

I'd offer $1800 and go up to $2250. The stainless top makes it worth it for that price.

That's a KRL box like everyone else is saying. Worth more too. Just don't tell the seller that.

Looks to be deep. Looks to be a krl7022. I had a 7022 that didn't have spring loaded casters. The didn't do that like 5-6 yrs ago. So most likely the box is more like 6 yrs old. Looks to be nice. Its worth $3000 but he will never get that. A dealer selling it off his truck could get that. I think i paid $4000 for my 7022 i have 5 yrs ago. But that had a stainless top a riser and a bulk overhead storage cabinet.

Check other area craigslist. If you see the same box picture with the same or similar description then it's a scam. There seems to be more of that going on lately.

I agree. $2500 would be my drop dead price.

Since the guy is asking $3500 he needs to come back down to reality. If you start at <<$2500 he may not take the offer seriously.

I'd probably start with the $2500 and make it clear to him that your offer is fair but firm.

All this assumes the box is a "cream puff".

They may not tell me, but they may tell my dealer... If a box is purchased on a SnapOn credit contract that has not been paid off, they can legally come and get that box.. That is what the fine print on my contract papers stated. I have known it to happen...

I talked to the guy on the phone and have a meeting to guy see it when I get home from work on the 16th. Iim not gonna tell him about the model but I printed out some ebay listings of similar boxs that go for 2000-2500 buy it now

Well... it's worth more than a KRA. But still worth less than he's asking.

I was thinking maybe KRA2422, but it's got too many narrow drawers. It does look deeper than 24" to me, but could be the angle.

I'd definitely go with a KRL722 then. That end shot doesn't look like a 30" box.

The guy said its two feet deep. Gotta be a krl722. Kinda bums me out cause I wouldlike to be able to put the nice workcenter riser on but the 24 deep only allows the one thats not as nice
