I'm looking at getting a Snap-On box from a dealer.

I know the Epiq is the top of the line BUT what are the main differences in the rest?

What is the street pricing of some of them?

Epiq is deeper and also has the lift type latch built into the front of the drawer.

Master is what the krl boxes are called now and they are still really good build quality. They are almost as deep as an epiq, the main difference is the latch system. The safety latch is under the drawer handles and it slides to unlatch.

Kra boxes are not worth the investment unless it's super cheap used price.

I have a KRA and like it, but have yet to find anything remarkable about it, other then I got it used for less then the cost of a 56" General.

I am just a diy fixer upper, and it serves its purpose. I do last for a KRL or Epiq though!

There are differences in the KRL line too.. 700 and 1000 series.

I have a KRL1032 and love it. Once you use a 30” deep box it’ll spoil you.

As for pricing from a dealer how’s your relationship with them? Are you looking to buy new or a trade in they have? Are you going to pay cash? There’s a lot of wiggle room in box prices.

Epiq and Master's series(KRL,KMP,KTL) have similar drawer depths..
I don't know where you are located, but 1st State Tools in Delaware have great deals on Epiq rollers.
Good luck

The 1000 series KRL demand much more money than the 700 series.

KRL722 is 24” deep

dont forget the 7000 series, same depth as 1000, but 4" shorter height like the 700 series.
